New funding officer for Our Community
Source: Jain McIntyre
Our Community has appointed a funding officer, Jain McIntyre, for 6 months until March 2026. Her remit will mainly focus on working for funding for the Our Community projects and liaising with the Our Community groups.
Introducing herself, Jain writes:
“Originally from Glasgow, I moved to West Dunbartonshire 10 years ago. My background is in youth and community development, community arts and running and supporting social enterprises.
I’m really excited to be working with Cove & Kilcreggan communities and building on the great work and projects already underway. I’m looking forward to helping groups access funding, develop partnerships and bring their ideas & projects to life.
When I’m not working with Our Community, I manage a small office & shared working space, run a veg box delivery scheme (a legacy from running an eco-organic shop!) and I'm currently supporting the development of a textile-focused social enterprise in Dumbarton.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to work with you. I’m looking forward to getting started and speaking to you all soon!”
Jain will be working approximately 20 hours per week (part-time) on Our Community.
We look forward to working with Jain, in what is shaping up to be a busy 6 months ahead for all of us!
