The feasibility study is the first step towards addressing the lack of quality sports provision, limited facilities for young people, community asset decline and the lack of a village heart, especially in Cove, all of which were identified by 3 years of extensive public consultation in Cove & Kilcreggan villages, and are part of our Local Place Plan which has already been issued to Argyll & Bute Council. Historically, Craigrownie Park was also established as a recreation ground to act as the heart of the co-joined Cove & Kilcreggan villages, and has the potential to be cultivated as this in the future. Along with this, MAST Architects will work with the site stakeholders to ensure their views are a key input to further refine and shape the views laid out in the LPP.

The feasibility study is essential to the work on the further enhancement of the site as a hub for the community, and will be completed by March 2026.

Established 47 years ago, MAST Architects are an award-winning Glasgow-based practice delivering high quality architectural design across sectors particularly residential, conservation and community through an innovative, pragmatic and sustainable approach centred on people, place and long-term value.
