PEATON WOODS WORKDAY

Call for Volunteers!

The 15th Peaton Woods Workday is coming up with the lush green of the onset of Summer! These are becoming regular workdays, and making such a difference to this indigenous forest in our neighbourhood!

Date: 19th June 2026

Time: 11 am - 2.30 pm

Venue: Meadow by the old Telephone exchange at the bottom of Peaton Road

If you arrive after 11am, please look at the notice board behind the Telephone Exchange (photo provided), along the path winding uphill by the burn. A map is pinned up there circling the part of the wood where the work party will be working.

More Rhodie-bashing, pulling up invasive sapling, and a chat in the woodlands!

Please bring tools like secateurs, loppers, bowsaws, work gloves and a warm refreshing drink. Bikkies provided!
