CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: PEATON WOODS WORKDAY

This month's work day is coming up, so see those of you who can make it!

Date: 18th October 2025 (Saturday)

Time: 11.30am onwards (until about 2.30pm)

Place: Peaton Woods

We will probably pick up where we left off after the trustees' work week last month,  rhodie-bashing at the far end of the wood and burn off as much of the brash that was chain-sawed/lopped last month as we can. 

If in addition to the usual gloves and loppers any of you have bolt cutters/wire snippers then please do bring them along, so we can take down some of the old rusty wire fencing, which has become a bit of a safety risk. 

As ever, bring a flask (and sandwiches if you like), Jeanne will supply biscuits again!

There's an access point closer to where we work up on the high road, so if we all aim to get to the usual spot by the meadow at 11.30pm, we can shuttle folks up as needed.
