Craigrownie 10th Anniversary: GALA Day!

A celebration is planned for the decade of Craigrownie Playpark!

Our Community is planning a fun filled (and, touch wood, sun-fuelled) Gala Day on Saturday 22 August between 12noon - 4pm. There will also be an evening event in the Cove Burgh Hall - not confirmed yet but possibly a ceilidh.

Gathering at 11.30am at the Medical Centre the Gala will then commence at midday with a parade leaving from the Medical Centre to Craigrownie Park. Everyone is invited to dress up with the theme being “Playful Characters” so take your pick from any character you wish from books, films, TV shows, stories etc.

We are still in the process of planning the events at Craigrownie but you can expect an array of games, bouncy castle, facepainting, music, crafts, entertainment, food and drink.

Our Community are funding the event through a combination of funds raised via our local Community Lottery, seeking grant funding, and raising funds locally.

We would be massively grateful. Every penny will help us deliver a great family day for people of all ages.
